Design Technology Coordinator

Bull Stockwell Allen is seeking a talented individual with an expert skill level in design technology who also demonstrates a passion for developing more effective means of collaboration.  The Design Technology Coordinator will develop office standards, coordinate training project teams and lead the office in evaluating the effectiveness of new methodologies.  This individual should be comfortable in a complex environment with a mix of both Mac and PC workstations and servers.  Understanding of Windows and MacServer and networkworking are beneficial but not required.

 

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain the current AutoCAD and REVIT infrastructure, including enhancing our current level of standardization, training and documentation.
• Work with staff to maintain and improve standardized libraries and enhance current methodologies to more effectively produce drawings and interchange electronic documents.
• Work with our IT partners to implement new technology and make repairs of existing technology.
• Provide day to day technology trouble shooting of CAD, REVIT and office productivity applications.

Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge and proven experience with REVIT and related BIM software.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills including the ability to instruct and communicate design technology to all members of the team.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with REVIT/BIM tools and at least 5-10 years of architectural experience after college.
• Bachelor degree in architecture is required.
