Iiyama Resort is planned as a pedestrian village on a plateau above the Nagano Valley. Five hundred condominium units, 200 hotel rooms and 50,000 sf of shops and restaurants with underground parking as well as an 18 hole golf course nearby are planned. Day visitors will arrive at the village and ski facilities via a gondola.
