This simple award-winning design evolved from a desire to have the building "feel and look" like it has always been there. The 7,500 sf visitor center won the Presidential Design Award, the CCAIA People in Architecture Awards, and was recognized by the State Department of Rehabilitation for excellence in accessible design.
