In conjunction with the SE Group, BSA master planned a ground up winter destination resort for the Turkish government, located in eastern Turkey outside of Erzurum, that will rival the finest alpine resorts in Europe. Konakli boasts a 1000 meter vertical drop and abundant snowfall, and will host the slalom and downhill events at the 2011 Universiade Games.  BSA has further designed the resort’s Day Lodge, whose stone, glass and steel architecture will inform all of the buildings within Konakli’s new mid-mountain village.
