The design of Santa Rosa Junior College's Culinary Arts Center reinterprets the heritage brick buildings on campus while providing the latest developments in educational training. The 25,000 square foot, complex includes a cafe, multiple instruction kitchens, a demonstration kitchen, bakery, wine storage and 2 multi-purpose divisible smart-classrooms. The highly efficient Center has extensive low-e glazing in all of the kitchens and classrooms offering views out to the green campus quad and heritage oak trees. The hallways feature two-story light wells that flood the upper and lower floors with daylight creating comfortable and inspiring learning environments.
