Diablo Valley Community College's 15,000 square foot student bookstore was designed as the focal point for the main campus quad. The innovative building incorporates the latest trends in bookstore design. The program includes a full service café, convenience store, daylit sales floor, administrative offices and covered outdoor queuing to maximize square footage and operation efficiencies during the college's peak "buy back" season. A creative loading dock solution eliminated the need for delivery trucks on the now pedestrian friendly quad.
